L.A. Girl’s Matte Lipstick Spotted at Paris Fashion Week

Published on 03/02/17

Paris Fashion Week is one of the most high profile events in the world. What’s seen on and off the runway will dictate upcoming trends whether it’s clothes, accessories, hair, or beauty. There was one beauty look in particular that stood out at the H&M Spring 2017 Runway Show causing beauty editors to scramble to find out what amazing matte lipstick the models were wearing.

It has since been revealed that makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo discovered our Matte Velvet Lipstick collection at a beauty supply store in Paris. Taking two vibrant shades, Manic and Love Triangle, he chopped the products and mixed them in a plastic makeup pot to create a universally flattering fuschia-purple shade which he applied on every model that was sent down the runway during H&M’s spring 2017 show. He has this to say about our matte-formula lipstick:

"It's crazy because this color works on every model in the show, regardless of her skin tone; we haven't found one girl who doesn't look good in it. It's so rich and pigmented that it just works." That artistry and creativity is what “love inspiring beauty” is all about!

Our Matte Velvet Lipstick features a unique formula that hydrates lips with shea butter while delivering boldly pigmented color in a true matte finish. The collection consists of 26 exciting shades. Customer-favorites include Snuggle, (a universal nude lip color), Va Voom!, (a vampy, deep burgundy shade), and Gossip, (the perfect vintage red). Wear your favorite matte lipstick shade with our creamy, smudge-proof Ultimate Auto Lipliner for perfect matte lips that last through the day.
